New PostAP Bren didn’t just win MP5, they also got a limited-edition watch

This Seiko5 isn’t for sale

At the recently concluded fifth world championships for the popular video game “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” (MLBB), Filipino eSports team AP Bren took home the gold. But they didn’t just walk away as the top players at MLBB M5 World Championships, they also went home with a limited edition timepiece from Seiko Philippines.

This Seiko x MLBB watch is not for sale, which means no one else but the members of the teams that got to the M5 World Championships have one.

The watch is a Seiko 5 Sports SRPE67 that has been decked out for the M5 World Championships. It features a black dial with yellow hour and minute markers, as well as yellow LumiBrite hands, with the M5 logo at the six o’clock position and the words “Better Than Great” (the title of the M5’s official theme). It has a day and date window at the three o’clock position, typical of any Seiko 5 model. It also has a silhouette of a limited-edition skin for one of the characters in the mobile game.

The open case back

As is also typical of Seiko 5 watches, this M5 version has an open case back, this time with the words “Pinas lang malakas” and “M5 Special Edition” printed in the center, and with the usual details printed in a semi-circular fashion along the edges.

As this limited edition Seiko x MLBB M5 watch is essentially an SRPE67, the movement is an automatic 4R36 caliber with manual winding capabilities, and has 24 jewels. Its hardlex crystal case is housed in stainless steel, with a diameter of 40 mm, and a lug-to-lug of 20 mm. This limited edition version, however, only comes in a black nato strap.

Apart from the qualifying MLBB teams, three “Mobile Legends” fans (from Manila and Cebu) got a chance to win one of these limited edition Seiko x MLBB Seiko 5 timepieces.
